Mo Steel is a flag football organization based out of the Michael – Ann Russell Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach, FL in the United States of America. Our team, Mo Steel, has been known around the United States as one of the premier programs since 1999.

Our team is affiliated with numerous flag football organizations including NFL Flag, United States Flag and Touch League (USFTL), International Flag Football Federation (IFFF), IFAF (International Federation of American Football), Let it Fly and a partnership with the JCCA and their Youth Football Fund. Our team plays in many events each year, which are hosted by all of the mentioned organizations.

League (USFTL), International Flag Football Federation (IFFF), IFAF (International Federation of American Football), Let it Fly and a partnership with the JCCA and their Youth Football Fund. Our team plays in many events each year, which are hosted by all of the mentioned organizations.

Mo Steel won the NFL National Championship eight times and has represented the United States of America on 8 occasions at the NFL Flag World Championships and other international flag football development programs. Fortunately, we were able to win two world championships (Vancouver and the Netherlands) and place second/ third at the others. Included in the visits to Vancouver and the Netherlands, our team has traveled to places like: Beijing, England, Israel, Japan, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Dallas, Virginia, Atlanta, Baltimore, Phoenix, Denver, San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York, Las Vegas, Detroit, New Orleans, Boston, New Jersey and many others.

Our program philosophy is something all the athletes and coaches strongly believe in. The children practice three times a week and play 1 or 2 games a week. Each athlete is responsible for maintaining an A average academically while staying on top of the practice load that football has to offer. A major part of the program is the volunteering projects that we participate in. Mo Steel has a mission to help other young people who might not be as fortunate as we, therefore, we have spent countless hours helping the disabled at the Special Olympics and playing flag football with children with autism.
